When you come to an appointment
FSHS offers both local appointments and remote appointments. In addition, students attending certain higher education institutions use local appointment services organised by our service partners.
Coming to a local appointment
When you arrive at a local appointment, there is usually no need for registration upon arrival. You can just enter a waiting area and wait to be called in.
Some of our service units also have information displays and desks in the hall. There you can check the right floor and the number of the consulting room. You can also check your future appointments in the Self online service, and reminder messages help you check who you’ll be seeing.
You should bring a valid student card or identity card to the appointment. That way you can prove you are studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at a university or other institution of higher education.
You can find information about our individual service units and our service partner units at the Service Units page.
Please do not use scented products when you visit an FSHS service unit.
If you become acutely ill before your appointment, remember to reschedule or cancel the appointment. Do not attend a service unit appointment while ill, if the illness has not been the original reason for your apppointment.
Read more on rescheduling or canceling appointments on the Contact page.
Attending a remote appointment
Remote appointments can be organised in situations where a physical examination of the student isn’t required. Remote appointments are accessed via the Self online service. Find more infomation on the instruction page for remote appointments.
