Changes to mental health chat services
The extensive mental health chat services introduced last summer and autumn were part of the mental health services enabled by government grant. This summer will bring some changes to these chat services.

Midsummer opening hours
All of our service units are closed on Midsummer Eve 24th of June 2022.
Authors of the history of the FSHS: “It was students who built the FSHS”
Throughout its history, the FSHS has always been ready to adopt new ideas. This innovative attitude will continue to be needed as we start tackling the mental health crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
tDCS gave Henri hope amidst depression
Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) was a new and somewhat unnerving treatment option for Henri, a student from Joensuu. Despite this he decided to try it for his depression.
New online content on sexual health
On Monday the 25th of April 2022 we published new content about sexual health on our website.
Customer feedback is used to improve FSHS services
Last year we received feedback from students both online and via text messages.
FSHS to organise a sexual health campaign during May Day week
Safe May Day #SafeSex -campaign will be seen at campus events and digital channels.
Students concerned about student healthcare resources
Students are expressing their concerns about the adequacy of resources and funding in student healthcare at demonstrations in Jyväskylä, Tampere, Lappeenranta, Joensuu, Kuopio and Rovaniemi.
Opening times during Easter 2022
The FSHS own service units are open on Holy Thursday 14th of April from 8.00 am to 12.30 pm. The national phone services will serve on Holy Thursday from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm.
