Seven student associations participated in the competition. Oidipus -student association, which is a subject association for psychology students at the University of Eastern Finland, won the lottery.
During the first year of the FSHS student panel new ideas were put forward for developing activities. The panel’s members made important contributions to issues such as improving the Self online service and finalisation of the new guide for student health meetings.
FSHS services are available to you, during spring, once you have registered to as present for the spring semester, which starts 1.1.2022.
FSHS’s digital and remote services operate in a normal manner on weekdays. The nationwide telephone services for the need for treatment assessments and service guidance are available Mon-Thurs from 8.00 am to 3.00 pm and Fri from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm.
The callback system used for the nationwide FSHS service numbers will be changed, with updates to the service. The system update will improve our phone service and make using our services simpler. Service numbers and hours will remain the same. The new system will be introduced between 10 and 15 December 2021.
We’ve published a new digital nutrition service called FSHS Nutrition. It offers coaching, podcasts, articles and a diverse range of other material you can use whenever or wherever you choose.
Our service units and our national service numbers are closed on Independence Day which is celebrated on Monday the 6th of December 2021.

The health questionnaire for first-year students has been updated. It’s now called HealthStart and it will be available nationwide in early 2022.
The health care fees for students in higher education have been verified for 2022 in accordance to the act on student health care for students in higher education. There will be no changes in the fees compared to 2021.
The challenge is part of our Exercise 2021-2022 theme year, the aim of which is to motivate students in higher education to exercise.
You can now see in a more clear format how well the FSHS has met the requirements regarding access to general, mental and oral health during the past six months.
Influenza vaccinations are about to begin. Medical students and health and welfare students in higher education, as well as students belonging to a risk group can receive their influenza vaccinations from the FSHS free of charge.
The mental health line provides students with assessment of the need for treatment and guidance on services from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Under the national vaccination programme, medical students and health and welfare students in higher education, as well as students belonging to a risk group can receive their influenza vaccinations from the FSHS. The vaccine is free of charge.
Cancel or reschedule as soon as possible if you cannot come on your scheduled appointment. In this case, your appointment can be used by someone else who needs it.
Information has not been delivered to the FSHS from University of Turku, Uniarts Helsinki and Aalto University due to the introduction of new study systems in the mentioned universities.
FSHS services are available to you when you have registered to be present for the autumn semester, which starts on 1.8.2021.

In spring 2021, the FSHS received funding from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health to support the well-being of students in higher education.

All our service units are open on Holy Thursday (1st of April) from 8.00 am to 12.30 pm and assessing your need for treatment from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm. The service units are closed during Easter from 2nd of April until 5th of April.

We received altogether 2,798 customer compliments, complaints and suggestions for improvements in 2020. Feedback was given 1,088 times via the FSHS website and 1,710 times on customer feedback devices at service units.

The national Finnish Student Health and Wellbeing Survey (KOTT) produces comprehensive and regular data on the welfare of students. The results of the survey will be used to develop student health services.
