For students of OAMK at Oulainen campus, FSHS general and mental health services will be transferred to a new address. Mehiläinen Ylivieska, located at Juurikoskenkatu 2, will be open for students from the Oulainen campus starting 24 May 2024. The Mehiläinen service unit in Oulainen will also attend to students when necessary. The change concerns some 300 OAMK students.
Students will be able to contact the FSHS as before using the national Self online service or the telephone service line. Oral health services will continue to be provided as before by Hammaslääkärikeskus Jouheva at Asemakatu 4, Ylivieska.
General and mental health services will be provided by Terveystalo Oulainen until 23 May 2024 and until the end of any ongoing treatment cycles.
Kela, which is responsible for organising student healthcare, has approved these FSHS network changes. To continue to ensure that units remain accessible by public transport, the FSHS has taken this into consideration when planning the changes.
