Using FSHS services

Title: Using FSHS services 

A character with a stethoscope and the FSHS logo on the clothes appears.

Then there are two student figures in the urban landscape, couple of houses with the FSHS logo and the already seen FSHS employee. The employee says in a speech bubble: “You can start using our services once you’ve registered as an attending student for the current term.”

In a next moment a student is holding a phone with the logo of the Self online service. There is also a FSHS employee on the screen. Then the phone changes to a computer. The Self logo, a chat window and a service form appear to the computer screen. 

The following text appears in the text box:

“Contact the assessment of the need for treatment team

  • by phone
  • via SelfChat or
  • by completing a service form in the Self online service.”

Then the student looks at the computer. The computer screen shows the Self logo and a FSHS employee. The following text appears in the video:

“Depending on your needs, you may be referred to

  • remote services
  • local services, or 
  • be given self-care instructions.”

Then the student figure is again holding a phone with the logo of the web service Self and the FSHS employee on the screen. The following speech bubble comes from the phone: “Digital services are available wherever you go.”

Then two students are looking at the map of Finland, where several cities are marked. The following text is shown: “We provide nationwide services at our service units and partner units.”

Then a cityscape is displayed, with a house with the FSHS logo in the foreground. 

Symbols related to health care and human figures depicting health care personnel have been added to the wall of the house. There are people outside the house. Speech bubbles from the FSHS building describe FSHS’s services:

“General and mental health services

Oral health services

Health promotion services

Services promoting the wellbeing of higher education communities.”

Then we’re in a picture where an FSHS employee is standing next to a house with the FSHS logo and says in a speech bubble: “We’re here to support your health.”

The closing screen of the video shows the FSHS logo and the address fshs.fi.

Self online service

A student figure is sitting at the computer. Title: Self online service

A page with the address fshs.fi, FSHS logo and the following text opens on the student’s computer screen: “Logging in to Self.”

Then the login point is pressed with a mouse, and the student receives a prompt on the screen: “Use your online banking ID or mobile ID to log in to Self.”

The computer mouse moves on the screen and a lock opens.

Then there are calendar and clock symbols and the following text:

“Review your appointments in Self and cancel and reschedule them when necessary.”

Then the computer screen shows the student figure with headphones and a FSHS employee with the following text: “Access remote consultations in Self.”

In the next screen student is standing next to the computer. The screen has the Self logo and a chat symbol. A form symbol appears. The following text is shown: “Contact the assessment of the need for treatment team via SelfChat or by completing a service form.”

The title Health promotion appears on the student’s computer screen. The following text is shown: “Use health promotion services in Self as much as you like.”

The title “Contact details” appears on the student’s computer screen. The following text is shown: “Update your contact details in Self.”

Then four students stand in a cityscape in front of a house with the FSHS logo and say in unison: “We recommend you start using Self as soon as you begin your studies.”

HealthStart

Start image

Title: HealthStart

A student character jumps into the picture. The video also shows a heart curve.

The student character takes out a cell phone with the following text:

“Please complete the HealthStart questionnaire via the Self online service.”

Next, the student is standing at a computer and fills out a form on the screen. The following text is shown: “The health check for first-year students begins with the HealthStart questionnaire.”

The student presses the Submit button with the mouse.

After that the student is walking in an urban landscape with a cell phone. The following text appears on the cell phone: “After completing the questionnaire you’ll receive an assessment of your state of health.”

The student meets a FSHS employee character who says in a speech bubble: “Based on your answers you may be referred to our services.”

The student and the FSHS employee look together at an info screen with health symbols (sleep, nutrition, exercise, a toothbrush). The employee says in a speech bubble: “You may also be given health promotion tips.”

Health information online

Start screen

Title: Health information online

A student character is sitting at a computer. The address fshs.fi is displayed. The back of the student hurts, and the facial expression is painful. The following text is displayed: “Does your back hurt because of too much sitting?”

A speech bubble comes from the computer screen: “Check out the mini-workouts in the Health Information section on our website.”

Then the student makes physical exercises and begins to smile.

In the next screen, the student is in the middle of numerous books and a screen, looking confused. The following text is displayed: “Or do you find it hard to concentrate?”

The title Health Information appears on the student’s screen. A speech bubble comes from the computer screen: “The Health Information section offers tips to improve your concentration.”

The student begins to smile.

The text of the speech bubble changes: “The website also contains plenty of other useful health information and tips to promote your well-being.”

The following texts are displayed on the student’s screen: “It deals with topics such as: Exercise and ergonomics, Nutrition, Oral health, Mental Health, Intoxicants and addiction problems.”

Then there are three students is in an urban landscape. One student has a mobile phone. The following text is displayed: “The Health Information section also has a search engine to access our Health Information resource.” 

A search box appears on the student’s cell phone. The screen shows the text “Health Information resource”. There are alphabets in a row on the student´s computer screen. The following text is displayed: “It contains self-care instructions and information on when to contact the assessment of the need for treatment team.”

The final image shows the FSHS logo and the address yths.fi/en/health-information

StressLess

Opening Image

A student figure looks ahead with a confused look and spreads the arms. The following text is displayed: “Feeling stressed?”

Then the following text is displayed: “Reduce stress – join the StressLess coaching course.”

The student sits in the middle of stacks of books, looking sad. A chaotic thought bubble contains a lot of different images: a computer with an exclamation mark, a car, music notes, a phone with a FSHS employee and an outside door with mail falling out of it.

The student is reading a text box: “Did you know that stress causes many kinds of symptoms, such as:

  • sleep problems
  • memory problems
  • relationship problems
  • isolation
  • headache
  • stomach complaints
  • shortness of breath
  • sweating
  • rapid heartbeat
  • worrying
  • distressing thoughts
  • tension”

The student removes the text box from view with a downturned mouth. Next, a screen appears with three student figures and a FSHS employee figure. The people on the screen are smiling. The following text is displayed on the screen:

“Join the StressLess coaching course! It’s designed to teach you to adopt a new attitude to difficult thoughts and to accept and deal with difficult emotions. You’ll be given tips and exercises to do at home.”

The student’s expression brightens. The screen still displays the sentence: “Participate in StressLess training!” All other text disappears. In our animated video, the student jumps into the screen and high fives another student.

Then the student stands with a book in hand, and in a thought bubble, the equation E=mc2 is shown.  Next to the student is a text box that says:

“StressLess coaching will help you to practise the following:

  • Mindfulness
  • Dealing with difficult thoughts and emotions
  • The balance between acceptance and change.”

Then an image of a laptop with the FSHS logo on the screen is shown. The speech bubble from the screen says: “Check out the group schedule on the FSHS website.”
