At FSHS, remote appoinments are used extensively. When, you contact us, the necessity for a local (in-person) appointment is evaluated during the need for treatment assessment conducted by our health care professionals.

The FSHS’s healthcare professionals can be reached via video appointments in numerous situations. Remote consultations can be booked at all FSHS units for

  • health checks,
  • nutrition counselling,
  • physiotherapy follow-up visits, and
  • general health and mental health follow-up visits.

Remote appointments, are, for example, also available with dental hygienists in Helsinki and Tampere.

A remote appointments is not suitable for situations where you need a physical examination.

The remote appointments take place in thw Self online service, which can only be accessed in Finland and Sweden. We cannot conduct remote appointments if the student is abroad on a student exchange or internship.
