Changes to SelfChat service hours, a new chat line for hearing impaired

SelfChat service hours will change and new chat service lines will be opened to make using the FSHS service faster and simpler. A designated chat line will also be opened for the hearing impaired. The new service hours and chat lines will be introduced on Monday, 4 April 2022.

The new SelfChat service hours

On SelfChat, you can chat with our nursing staff in real time. You can manage your bookings, have your need for treatment assessed and get advice if you have a technical problem. If you can’t seem to find a suitable service line, choose the line for assessing the need for treatment.

Service hours from 4 April 2022:

Mental health
Mon–Fri 10 am to 2 pm

Oral health
Mon–Fri 9 am to 11 am

General health
Mon–Fri 9 am to 11 am
Chat service line:
* Assessing the need for treatment
* Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
* Birth control
* Travel health and vaccinations

Tehnical issues
Mon–Fri 9 am to 11 am

SelfChat for the deaf and hard of hearing

A designated service line has been opened on SelfChat for the deaf and hard of hearing. When the new chat line becomes available, service telephone numbers for the deaf and hard of hearing will no longer be operational.

Service hours from 4 April 2022:

General, oral and mental health

Mon–Thu 8 am to 3 pm, Fri 8 am to 2 pm
