FSHS Tampere’s general and mental health appointment services now serve students at Pakkahuoneenaukio 2. The new premises opened for students on Monday, September 12, 2022.
The service unit is located nere the railway station on the upper floor of S-market Pendoliino, and the entrance to FSHS is from Tullikatu. The new place is called Tulli.
The relocation will not affect the FSHS’s oral health services in Tampere, so the unit in Hervanta will be operating as usual.

The FSHS’s service unit on Kalevantie, Tampere, will be transferred to new premises at the end of August/early September. General and mental health services will then be located above S-market Pendoliino in Pakkahuoneenaukio next to the railway station; the entrance will be at the corner of Tullikatu. The new service unit will be called FSHS Tulli.
All local general and mental health appointments at the unit on Kalevantie will end on 26 August 2022. Despite the relocation, the assessment of the need for treatment and the appointment work as normal.
During the relocation in weeks 35-36:
- All appointments will be remote appointments, unless agreed otherwise with the member of staff concerned (e.g. appointments outdoors during a walk)
- You can contact the general and mental health services office 29 – 31 August and 5 – 9 September by calling 046 876 9182 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m; the patient office is completely closed on 1 Sept and 2 Sept.
If everything goes as planned, the FSHS’s new premises will open on 12 September 2022. The relocation will not affect the FSHS’s oral health services in Tampere, so the unit in Hervanta will be operating as usual.

According to the plan the operations will start in the new location in all likelihood on the 1st of September 2022. Extensive renovations are being done to the new spaces at this moment and we will leave the current space at latest on the 30th of September 2022.
FSHS Tampere general and mental health services will move to a building called Pendoliino. The new address for the service unit is Pakkahuoneenaukio 2, 33100 Tampere. The entrance of the service unit is at the corner of Tullikatu. The new location will be called FSHS Tulli.
General and mental health services will continue to function at the current location at Kelavantie until the move. Whereafter, the FSHS will leave the old spaces entirely because the building has reached the end of its life cycle.
Oral health services are operated through Hervanta so this move will not affect in any way the function of oral health services.

The FSHS has signed a lease for new premises located in the centre of Tampere. FSHS Tampere’s general and mental health appointment services will move to a building called Pendoliino near the railway station in early autumn. The move is provisionally scheduled to take place at the beginning of September 2022 when renovation work on the new premises has been completed.
The general and mental health appointment services will continue to operate normally in the current premises on Kalevantie until the move. After the move, the FSHS will abandon the old premises entirely as the building has reached the end of its life.
Since the oral health appointment services operate in Hervanta, the move won’t influence oral health services.
